Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, collaborate with teams to ship features, and ensure application performance and quality.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Android Software Engineer to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless and scalable user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Integrate APIs and backend services
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements
Strong experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
- Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, etc.)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
- Ability to write unit and integration tests
Nice to Have
- Experience with Compose UI
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Firebase or similar services
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools
