Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for an Application Analyst Lead - Epic Cadence Scheduling and Referrals to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Under general direction, responsible for application and integration of information technology in the healthcare setting. This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes. This includes data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation. Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use. Has technical knowledge of all phases of applications system analysis and project management. May have duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other application Analysts, personnel, and project team members. Acts as project leader for projects with moderate to large budgets or system-wide implications, multiple projects of a short to long-term duration, and medium to large 
projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and six years’ related experience, or three years’ direct experience in lieu of a degree. 

  • Appropriate certification or licensure (if applicable) required.

  • Epic Cadence Certification/Proficiency with Honors strongly desired.

  • Candidates with appropriate related IT / medical group scheduling/access/referrals experience will be considered but will be expected to pass certification/proficiency exams.
