The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.
While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise exceeds the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities
- Implement and deploy open source and internally developed AI models using frameworks such as Hugging Face and Ollama
- Build and maintain agent-based workflows and task orchestration systems
- Integrate AI tools into existing research and data pipelines
- Execute local model deployment and optimization for performance and usability
- Support prompt engineering, testing, and evaluation of model outputs
- Troubleshoot system issues and improve reliability of AI applications
- Stay current with advancements in agentic systems and applied AI tooling
- Collaborate with ML scientists to operationalize new models into usable applications
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Biology, or related field
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and basic orchestration concepts
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience working with open source LLM frameworks such as Hugging Face or Ollama
- Hands on experience running or deploying models locally, not limited to API usage
- Understanding of prompt engineering and model evaluation fundamentals
Preferred
- Exposure to agentic application frameworks such as OpenClaw
- Experience with retrieval augmented generation, embeddings, or vector databases
- Prior industry experience in biotech, pharma, or scientific computing environments
- Experience integrating AI tools into research or production workflows
