What we're looking for:
  • Four to six years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis, leveraged finance, corporate lending, or a related field, preferably with exposure to high-yield or middle-market corporate issuers.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline. CFA designation is preferred.
  • Strong fundamental credit analysis skills, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, leverage assessment, and evaluating corporate credit risk.
  • Solid understanding of corporate debt and capital markets, including familiarity with high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and related financing structures.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting legal documentation associated with corporate debt and loan issuance.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to develop, articulate, and defend credit recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex credit analysis clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interest in private credit and private capital markets, with a desire to deepen expertise in this evolving area.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
