Job Description: This position is a part of the Client Advisory team and provides assistance to this team in all manners of client service and daily operations, as well as administrative duties and special projects.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of prior experience in Client Operations and/or Administration and past full-time office experience is required.

- Possess strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, client service, and verbal/written communication skills
- Detail-orientation and understanding of time-sensitive issues are extremely important
- Intermediate knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office suite skills, with an emphasis in Excel
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing demands
- Present a positive attitude and demonstrate initiative in all aspects of the position
- Demonstrates and promotes integrity in an environment of mutual trust and respect
- Maintains the utmost discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information
- Basic understanding of investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternatives is preferred
- Experience working with custodians such as Charles Schwab and Fidelity is a plus
- Comfort in speaking with clients and other professionals concerning money movement, account openings, trades within accounts, and basic daily operations is a plus
- Proficiency with Salesforce, or similar CRM is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Client Advisory Team through preparation of custodian paperwork ranging from: opening client accounts, facilitating IRA distributions, setting up power of attorney, wiring money, etc.
- Draft letters of instruction, complete account applications, manager agreements and fund subscription documents, organize supporting documentation, and follow the process through in tandem with the firm’s Capital Markets Group.
- Act as information provider to accountants, banks, investment managers, and other professionals also supporting clients.
- Due to the required expertise in all client administrative matters, this role may serve as additional support in the quarterly reporting process, specifically in reconciling and otherwise reviewing client reports.

Pay Transparency: Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $65,000 - $72,500 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
