Job Responsibilities:
- Support the First Line of Defense functions of AAC-USA according to the firm's established risk policies and guidelines
- Assess credit and financial strength of proprietary trading and corporate hedge clients by performing fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors
- Review accounts, perform annual reviews, and process temporary extensions; this includes requests for trading limits, credit lines, margin levels and internal metrics
- Perform limit recommendations for new onboards and prepare comprehensive credit presentations in accordance with the defined global risk appetite for Senior Committee Approval
- Monitor periodic risk reporting with respect to adherence to credit and market risk related parameters. Identify the nature of exceptions and seek resolution
- Actively participate in specific projects within the AAC-USA related to any major initiative
- Coordinate with various departments such as Commercial, Legal, Market Risk and Compliance departments to ensure clients are operating within the parameters set forth by those departments
- Serve as a key liaison between AAC-USA and industry participants; this includes street-side counterparts, CCPs and exchanges
- Design, prepare, and present various procedures and training materials. This includes information memos, operations manuals, user guides and in-person/online presentations
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in finance or related industry, previous clearing industry background preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Basic understanding of client businesses and CCPs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with futures/equities/options products and associated trading strategies
- Experience with Excel, Tableau and data organization
