An overview of this role The Associate Cloud GTM Specialist plays a supporting role in driving go-to-market strategies for joint cloud products, with a specific focus on AWS solutions. This entry-level position focuses on evangelizing AWS-integrated solutions, gathering market feedback, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives through effective cross-functional collaboration with AWS teams and partners.

What you'll do

  • Assist with Executing AWS-focused GTM Strategies: Assist in implementing strategies for evangelizing joint AWS-GitLab products, including market positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans aligned with AWS marketplace opportunities.
  • AWS Buyer/Market Feedback: Capture buyer feedback during AWS cloud coselling engagements. Capture and share competitive information with product and product marketing teams to enhance AWS integration value propositions.
  • AWS Product Positioning and Messaging: Provide input to help refine messaging and positioning for AWS-integrated products, highlighting specific AWS services and capabilities that complement GitLab solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration with AWS: Work closely with AWS partner teams, sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of AWS GTM plans.
  • AWS Cloud Evangelism: Provide support to champion joint AWS-GitLab products and solutions to AWS sellers and related teams. Provide support at AWS industry events (re
    , AWS Summits) and joint marketing activities. Work with GitLab field sales to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality on AWS, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases leveraging AWS infrastructure.
  • AWS Customer Acquisition and Retention: Execute strategies to acquire new AWS customers and retain existing ones through effective GTM initiatives that showcase GitLab's value on the AWS platform.

What you'll bring

  • Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably with some experience in AWS cloud coselling.
    • Basic understanding of AWS Marketplace.
    • Basic understanding of the devops space. 
    • Familiarity with AWS partner programs.
    • Basic experience in GTM and partnerships, or similar roles.
    • Basic communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate value propositions.
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
    • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills  
    • Basic business acumen and a passion for cloud solutions.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

$74,800$132,000 USD
