The Crown Is Yours
As an Associate Corporate Counsel, you'll play a key role on our Legal Marketing Team as we continue expanding our Spanish-language experience. You'll combine your legal expertise and bilingual fluency to help ensure our legal and marketing communications are accurate, compliant, and consistent across English and Spanish. Working alongside Legal, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, and Compliance teams, you'll help shape how we communicate with a growing global audience while driving greater efficiency through innovative translation solutions and emerging technology.
What you'll do as an Associate Corporate Counsel
  • Review and advise on English and Spanish offer terms, marketing assets, and customer-facing messaging across our offerings to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the in-house legal translation expert by translating and reviewing legal content between English and Spanish, including contractual language, regulatory disclosures, consumer communications, and marketing materials.
  • Partner with Legal, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, and Compliance teams to deliver legally compliant communications that also reflect our brand voice.
  • Review and validate translations produced by outside counsel, vendors, and internal contributors to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy.
  • Help develop, evaluate, and improve AI-assisted translation tools, including ChatGPT and Amazon Web Services Comprehend, to support high-quality legal translations at scale.
  • Counsel cross-functional stakeholders on marketing, advertising, promotional, and responsible gaming matters while helping teams navigate evolving legal requirements.

What you'll bring
  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school with active membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • At least 2 years of legal experience, preferably supporting marketing, intellectual property, regulatory, consumer protection, or advertising matters.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish with professional legal translation certification, such as American Translators Association certification, an equivalent credential, or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce precise, accurate legal translations in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for applying emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve legal translation quality and operational efficiency.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 141,600.00 USD - 177,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
