Collier.Simon is an independent, full-service creative agency in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. We work with our client partners to develop creative solutions that truly move the needle. Clients range from Fortune 500-type household names to up-and-comers across a variety of industries / verticals. We’re in the midst of a tech-powered transformation, using AI to supercharge creativity, not replace it, and we’re looking for curious minds excited to explore AI as a tool to scale, spark, and speed up creativity.

We’re growing our creative team and are looking for an Associate Creative Director who can partner closely with a Creative Director on a range of fast-paced, high-impact client work, specifically a Tier 3 auto client.

This is a hands-on lead role—perfect for someone who thrives in performance-driven digital environments, loves building brands, and understands how to bridge creative storytelling with data-informed iteration. You’ll work across brand platforms, digital activations, and high-volume creative for paid and organic social content.

You Might Be a Fit If You...
  • Have 7+ years of agency or digital creative experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Have experience in Tier 2 or Tier 3 auto or similarly structured accounts with localization, dealer support, or platform-specific needs (a major plus)

  • Are equally confident leading projects and getting hands-on with design, concepting, and creative problem-solving

  • Can support and collaborate with a Creative Director—translating vision into execution, managing day-to-day team flow, and pushing work forward with clarity and care

  • Are fluent in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects)

  • Understand the nuances of platform-specific performance creative—you know what works on TikTok vs YouTube Shorts vs Meta ads

  • Are a systems thinker who can help build scalable creative structures without losing freshness or quality
What You'll Do
  • Act as the creative partner to the Creative Director—helping lead concepting, execution, and presentation of creative across campaigns and content

  • Mentor, guide, and inspire junior and mid-level designers, copywriters, and editors within your creative pod

  • Translate creative briefs into smart, platform-native ideas, working across brand, performance, and content formats

  • Lead reviews and approvals for creative across channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and breakthrough quality

  • Step in to design, concept, or revise when needed—this is a true player-coach role

  • Work closely with Strategy, Account, and Production teams to align on timelines, deliverables, and optimization cycles

  • Help develop and evolve visual identities, brand systems, content frameworks, and campaign ecosystem and toolkits

  • Stay up to date on platform trends, design tools, and AI-driven creative workflows, and help educate and inspire your team accordingly
 Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a creative or digital agency setting

  • Strong portfolio that includes brand campaigns, social content, and platform-specific performance work

  • The ability to think and create across dozens of brands

  • Fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, AE)

  • Experience managing and mentoring creative teams in a remote environment

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail—able to handle multiple creative tracks and adjust on the fly. Experienced in juggling projects under a short timeline

  • Comfort working with Account and Strategy to build briefs, interpret data, and iterate against performance feedback

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in design, communications, or visual arts

  • Experience with automotive accounts (Tier 2 or Tier 3) strongly preferred
What We Offer
  • A highly collaborative, ambitious team of creatives, strategists, and makers

  • A remote work environment with PST-based hours, LA based candidates are preferred

  • Full-time salary and benefits including healthcare, 401(k), generous PTO, and creative growth support

To Apply:
Please submit your portfolio and a brief note describing your agency experience. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

Benefits

Benefits including healthcare, 401K, vacation/PTO policy to be shared in greater detail during the interview process.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
