The role will focus on conducting outreach and relationship building within the DeFi ecosystem, with the aim of facilitating integrations, strengthening adoption and protocol-level collaboration.

This is a hands-on, results-driven role: the Associate DeFi Growth Specialist will own a relations pipeline, run structured outreach, and convert opportunities into integrations and measurable ecosystem growth.

The ideal candidate has relevant growth-related experience in DeFi, is deeply familiar with staking and the broader Ethereum ecosystem, and thrives in a remote, international environment.

Key Scope

  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with DeFi protocols, wallets, and users.

  • Identify and generate new stETH and stVaults integration and collaboration opportunities through various channels, moving from outreach, pitching, to signed commercial agreements.

  • Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle for your accounts.

  • Lead collaborations and integrations, coordinating independently with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

  • Source incentives for stETH growth and adoption, preparing clear proposals and securing the necessary approvals to support launches and expansions.

  • Keep track of daily happenings and news in DeFi and TradFi.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in ecosystem, growth, or other integration and collaboration related roles in blockchain or TradFi.

  • Track record of building, managing, and converting partnership or integration opportunities from exploration through completion.

  • Ability to cultivate and maintain a network of long-term relationships, managing multiple stakeholders and keeping collaborations moving forward.

  • Multi-year experience using onchain products (hard requirement).

  • Deep understanding of different Ethereum staking products (liquid staking, staking as a service, restaking, etc.).

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong work ethic and results-focused, taking ownership & accountability for consistent results to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment

Nice to have

  • Technical crypto knowledge is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to read and understand integration documentation (SDK, API and similar).

Key Factors
  • Contribute from anywhere in the world.

  • Competitive compensation level.

  • Flexible schedule.

  • Compensation for education, including language & professional growth courses.

  • Equipment & co-working reimbursement program.

Compensation: USD $60,000-$80,000 base (12-month contract) + performance-based component

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
