Purpose

PerkinElmer is seeking a Associate General Manager- VCO. This role will be responsible for delivering profitable growth for PerkinElmer by partnering effectively with General Managers and Business Development Leaders of a $10M+ key account for PerkinElmer.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner closely with General Managers & Business Development leaders on a $10M+ key account to deliver profitable growth for PerkinElmer
  • Provide regular updates to PerkinElmer senior executive leadership on account status & growth opportunities, including sharing discrete action plans to drive results
  • Develop standard reporting and lead KPI & action tracking reviews with key customer stakeholders, working closely with data analysis & delivery teams
  • Drive improved service delivery performance through identification of operational improvement opportunities and redesigning workflows/processes
  • Support identification of new business opportunities through detailed account planning and stakeholder mapping with the business development lead, focusing especially on cross-selling services & expansion to new sites/geographies
  • Lead development of RFPs & proposals for the customer, crafting compelling value-based responses in partnership with OneSource product management and senior leadership

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in value creation
  • Strong analytical ability
  • High degree of ownership & accountability
  • Blend of operations and commercial experience
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Looking to transition to a future role with P&L responsibility
  • Willing to travel to customer site 50%+ of time

  • Product Manager at blue chip firm
  • Leadership Program at blue chip firm
  • Consultant at top tier firm
  • Pharma/Life sciences experience preferred but not required
