In this role, you will conduct surface, mineral, and leasehold title research, support acquisitions, and learn how to negotiate with landowners for lease acquisitions. You’ll participate in a comprehensive training program with mentorship from experienced land professionals, giving you the tools to grow into a leader in our industry.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research in county records to determine surface and mineral ownership by utilizing online databases or traveling to the local county courthouse to review county records.
- Maintain professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and document research findings, extracting relevant information for reports to submit to the client.
- Meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities in an environment with shifting timeframes.
- Negotiate with landowners for the acquisition of rights to energy resources
- Contribute to other duties assigned by management and determined by business needs.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or less than 1 to 12 months of industry-related experience
- Ability to meet specific deadlines, daily and weekly, based on current business needs
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management and clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) or Google (Sheets/Docs)
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
