Job Responsibilities
- Making mass changes to part data records
- Validating requests to make changes to records in the SAP system
- Support design requirements for teams leaving legacy parts system and entering SAP
- Investigate interaction problems between different systems and SAP
- Elevate system errors and fixes needed to IT
- Review internal SAP system queues
- Evaluate impact and notify users of system downtime
- Test new changes to the SAP system, catalog testing results and communicate findings
- Find and fix gaps in data on a systematic level
- Communicate process gaps with ME community
- Test and manage administration of restricted users
- Communicate escapements and incidents of non-compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience: 2+ years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes
- Technical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of programming language(s): Microsoft Excel VBA or similar
- Previous knowledge/experience, or ambition to learn, internal system interfaces and how to manipulate system code for the benefit of Boeing systems, processes, and users
- Experience with supply chain
- Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, SAP
