BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSME a Plus.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with definition and implementation of test automation 
  • Experience with the use of off-the-shelf mechanical test equipment 
  • Experience with test execution, data collection and analysis
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master’s in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Experience with thermal, vibration, and stress analysis and verification/validation 
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages for data analysis, automation, or test scripting 
  • Language- Mandarin
  • Experience with NX       

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design novel hardware solutions and custom fixtures 
  • Build new mechanical designs and define validation requirements 
  • Create test cases and design/implement tests 
  • Clearly communicate test plans and results with XFN teams 
  • Support mechanical tester bring up and FA activities 
  • Own execution, interpretation, test data analysis, and reporting of mechanical system level validation work status and results 
  • Ensure thorough documentation of test procedures and results 
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and infrastructure 
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical issues

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $72,000.00 - $105,000.00. Andrews Cooper is an equal-opportunity employer.
