Job Summary
At FranklinCovey, our mission is to enable greatness in people and organizations everywhere. Our AI Platform team is bringing FranklinCovey's proven methods, including The 4 Disciplines of Execution®, Helping Clients Succeed®, and our leadership and coaching content, into the tools people already use: AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT, and business platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Salesforce.

As an Associate Product Manager, you'll help build this work and help it land. Part of the role is classic product work: discovery, requirements, testing, and launch. An equally important part is operational: making sure our sellers, client success partners, consultants, and customers' administrators can set up what we've built and get value from it.

Essential Job Functions
Product Delivery

  • Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases for MCP tools, AI skills, and in-app experiences in partnership with the Product Manager, and work alongside Engineering and Design from build through release.

  • Contribute test scenarios and expected answers to quality checks (evals) for AI features, review results with subject-matter experts, and flag issues before launch.

  • Support discovery through customer and internal interviews and partner and marketplace research.

  • Use AI tools daily for research, drafting, prototyping, and analysis, verifying output and following FranklinCovey's AI-use policy, and share reusable prompts and templates with the team.

Enablement & Documentation

  • Create and maintain product documentation: setup and admin guides (connector installation, permissions, sign-in), how-to articles, FAQs, release notes, and the internal knowledge base.

  • Build and deliver enablement for Sales, Client Success, consultants, and facilitators, including demos, talk tracks, and training, so client-facing teams can lead conversations and advise customers on technical setup.

  • Help Security and Legal prepare security and AI questionnaires, data-handling summaries, and marketplace listing content.

Pilot & Product Operations

  • Coordinate pilot and early-access logistics: onboarding, setup support, check-ins, and tracking agreed success measures.

  • Track usage, adoption, and feedback across channels and report what you learn.

  • Manage intake and first-pass triage of feature requests, issues, and field questions, routing each to the right owner and turning recurring questions into documentation and backlog items.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product operations, technical program management, implementation, solutions consulting, or a similar role at a software or technology company

  • Experience creating technical documentation, training, or enablement materials

  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in day-to-day work

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with how AI assistants connect to outside tools and data, such as MCP servers, APIs, connectors, and agents

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Teams administration, Salesforce, Workday, or learning platform (LMS) integrations

  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in agile product teams

  • Experience testing software or evaluating AI features

  • Experience supporting pilots, customer onboarding, or implementations

  • Comfortable reading API documentation; basic SQL or data analysis skills a plus

  • Excellent written communication and organization, with a bias toward clarity and follow-through

  • Passion for leadership development, learning, and behavior change; edtech experience

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, employee stock purchasing program, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, and more. Please visit https://franklincoveybenefits.com/ for details.

*Actual offer may be outside of this range and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
