  • Ensure project scope, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined, documented, and communicated.
  • Coordinate engineering, design teams, PMO, procurement, and customer resources to ensure smooth execution.
  • Partner closely with VCF Principal Engineers and solution designers to translate technical requirements into actionable delivery plans.
  • Manage hardware logistics, SDDC Manager milestones, and environment readiness activities.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks across technical, operational, and organizational dimensions.
  • Drive structured change control processes for scope adjustments, timeline impacts, and resource shifts.
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely status updates, executive summaries, and project documentation.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards and align with VMware/Broadcom best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes, templates, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of project management experience in IT consulting, systems integration, or enterprise infrastructure.
  • 2+ years managing technical projects involving virtualization, cloud, networking, or datacenter technologies.
  • Familiarity with VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX) and general understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at different stages of the lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex dependencies and cross‑team coordination.
  • PMP certification (or in progress).

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
