As a Visual Designer, you will help showcase the Shield AI story by devoting your design talent to the creation of assets for our website, collateral, papers and presentations. You will work alongside a team devoted to excellence, committed to collaboration, and focused on helping customers and talent understand the power of AI and Shield AI’s power to protect service members, first responders and civilians.
What you'll do:
- As a Visual Designer, you will work with our Design and Marketing teams to produce critical marketing assets to help tell the Shield AI story and showcase our cutting-edge AI and robotics technology. Job responsibilities will include:
- Provide design support across Shield AI products and marketing touchpoints.
- Design and produce print materials (presentation materials, manuals, product collateral, marketing assets).
- Design and edit graphics for online use (website, email campaigns, social media, etc).
- Create infographics, product collateral and other marketing assets.
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to ensure all visual materials adhere to the Shield AI brand and reflect the company’s values.
- Maintain digital assets organized and enhance library of components.
Required qualifications:
- You have delivered as part of a design team -- whether freelance or in-house -- and are skilled in creating collateral and other creative marketing assets.
- 2+ years professional design experience.
- Strong typography, layout and print design skills.
- Experience designing for web and online media outlets.
- Strong knowledge and passion for visual design best practices.
- Experience with photography shooting and editing
- You understand how to tell a story through visual and creative assets.
- You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
- You are patient, you are kind, you have poise and you don’t shy away from delivering excellent work even while facing tight deadlines for a dedicated team which values your effort.
- You are creative and excited about working across teams to further the Shield AI mission by sharing it across media.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with ease.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with motion design (Adobe After Effects)
- Experience working in web and UI design is a plus but not required.

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
