At Minute Media, Audience Development is where strategy meets scale - you’ll drive initiatives that grow our audiences, deepen fan engagement, and directly shape the success of our global brands.

Role Summary

In this role, you will design and scale audience funnels that convert passive users into engaged, monetizable segments. Sitting at the intersection of Growth, Editorial, and Interactive, you will ensure every audience touchpoint delivers a compelling value exchange, turning followers into loyal subscribers.

You will collaborate with Editorial, Video, and Podcast teams to build creator-driven 1P strategies, while managing the development of Interactive fan experiences, including Community Boards, Gated Fan Chats, and UGC activations. By creating reward-based, community-driven experiences, you will foster Superfan advocates, deepen engagement, and maximize fan Lifetime Value (LTV).

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Minute Media’s audiences, translating strategy into measurable growth, lasting fan loyalty, and meaningful revenue impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creator Strategy: Partner with Editorial and Talent teams to execute audience-driven Creator initiatives across Sports Illustrated, FanSided, and all O&O brands, converting talent engagement into measurable audience growth.

  • Omnichannel Development: Ensure all community-driven O&O channels, including Organic Social, Video platforms, and emerging messaging platforms, are set up to capture 1P data and grow enriched user profiles.
  • External Partnerships: Develop a blueprint for collaborations with external influencers, athletes, and co-branded partners to reach and acquire new, relevant audiences.
  • Interactive Tools: Partner with Growth & Audience Associate to deploy interactive tools that combine community-building with seamless data capture within the core tech stack.
  • Measurement: Collaborate with Data and Growth teams to track performance, reduce churn, and optimize the community lifecycle to maximize fan Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Operational Support: Assist the Director of Audience Development across the full audience roadmap, from day-to-day execution to high-impact strategic growth projects.
  • Creator Network: Activate established creator networks to unlock new audience acquisition opportunities and extend brand reach.

The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $95,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) with company match.
