As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a AWS Cloud Architect - Master-Level. Project Summary

AIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for new cloud architecture design, development and integration of new architectural features into existing cloud infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.

  • Lead multi-disciplined teams in the design and implementation of cybersecurity system architecture.

  • Able to apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to a cloud architectural framework.

  • Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs for the cloud hosting environment.

  • Provide broad based experience in the systems engineering lifecycle and specific cyber security initiatives relating to cloud architectural design and development.

  • Resolve cloud architecture implementation issues during integration and test. 

  • Interface with internal and external entities for various solution related activities.

  • Ability to develop and deliver end-to-end, complex, enterprise level solutions that meet current and future capability requirements.

  • Recognized industry authority with technical insight in multiple fields and disciplines.

  • Complexity of work is state of the art and may be new to the company and to the industry.

Required For This Opportunity
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 15+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.

  • Certifications: IAT-2, 2 or more cloud certifications.

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $154,000-$232,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location. We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
