About the teamStudio Z, Zillow’s in-house creative agency, is seeking a quick-thinking writer and strategist to support our growing B2B content needs. This role sits on the Studio’s Content team, which develops engaging educational content to help consumers and real estate pros achieve their goals. We embody the Zillow core values of transparency, integrity, and putting customers first. To thrive here, you’ll also need a good dose of empathy and a sense of humor.

About the role

This role will craft accurate and compelling articles, emails, video scripts, and more for real estate agents and rental industry pros who use Zillow. You’ll serve as a thought-partner to your Marketing colleagues, advising on how your content can best support their strategic goals. Then, working with designers and other creatives, you’ll quickly develop your ideas into attention-grabbing, action-driving, brand-aligned assets. That could be a polished case study on how top agents are using a new Zillow product to grow their business, or a quick-hit video script on the latest market trends. Whatever it is, your speedy, thoughtful work will delight our audiences and encourage them to work with Zillow.

You’ll get to:

  • Work at the forefront of B2B services that are a driving force within Zillow and a key enabler as we build the real estate platform of the future.

  • Partner with Marketing colleagues to influence how content can best support our professional audiences and achieve our business goals.

  • Go deep into content creation, working with a versatile Studio team to craft high-quality, richly informative pieces across a range of lengths and formats.

  • Understand the world of real estate from the inside, and hear about the latest market and industry trends from internal research and experts.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $88,200.00 - $140,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • An experienced B2B content creator who can efficiently deliver accurate, brand-aligned articles, video scripts, infographic copy, and email copy.

  • A curious, diligent individual who can dive into the nuances of Zillow’s products and services and simplify their fine points into compelling stories.

  • A strategic problem solver who understands the evolving role of content in modern marketing, and can help shape projects and goals with our internal partners.

  • A kind, fun colleague who enjoys mixing it up with other creatives and learning new things while making work we can all be proud of.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating strategic educational content at high velocity for a brand, ideally in a B2B context.

  • Expertise working in a variety of content formats (articles, emails, scripts, etc.).

  • Real estate knowledge is a plus but not required.

  • We will consider candidates of all backgrounds who bring experience with the core duties and an eagerness to help our audiences succeed.

While this is a remote role, it will require some travel for in-person gatherings and work sessions.

To apply, please submit an application with your resume and content work samples. Applications without work samples will not be considered.
