We are seeking a B2B Social Media Manager to build and scale Oura’s presence across LinkedIn and other key platforms, turning internal expertise into external influence. This role will focus on developing employee advocacy, elevating executive and scientific voices, and supporting commercial initiatives through strategic social activation.

This is a builder role. You will create the systems, workflows, and content approach that enable Oura’s clinical, scientific, and commercial teams to show up consistently and effectively—while ensuring efforts ladder to broader business goals over time.

You will partner closely with Commercial, Science, Marketing, and Creative teams, as well as the Director of Social & Influencer, to ensure alignment between consumer and commercial storytelling.

What You Will Do:
Build Oura’s Commercial & Thought Leadership Presence
Establish social as a credible and consistent voice across healthcare, science, and commercial conversations.

  • Define and execute Oura’s LinkedIn and thought leadership strategy across commercial, clinical, and scientific narratives
  • Identify key storylines, perspectives, and insights that position Oura as a leader in health, longevity, and human performance
  • Translate complex topics into accessible, engaging content that resonates with both consumer and professional audiences
  • Ensure consistency in voice and quality while allowing for authentic expression from individual contributors

Develop and Scale an Employee Advocacy System
Turn internal expertise into a scalable distribution engine.

  • Build and operationalize Oura’s employee advocacy program across executives, scientists, and commercial leaders
  • Create frameworks, templates, and workflows that enable consistent, high-quality posting across individuals
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify priority voices and support them in developing their presence
  • Explore tools and AI-enabled workflows to streamline content creation and participation at scale
  • Track participation, engagement, and content performance to continuously refine the program

Support Commercial Growth Through Social Activation
Align social efforts with commercial priorities and partnership opportunities.

  • Partner with Commercial and Partnerships teams to support key verticals and initiatives through social storytelling
  • Develop structured approaches to manage and prioritize inbound partner requests
  • Ensure commercial content is strategic, consistent, and aligned with broader brand and business goals
  • Begin establishing pathways between social engagement and commercial outcomes, laying the groundwork for future lead generation

Create a Cohesive Commercial Content System
Move from ad hoc requests to a scalable, repeatable model.

  • Design and implement a content system that supports ongoing thought leadership, campaign amplification, and partner needs
  • Balance planned content with responsive opportunities, ensuring the team can move quickly without losing focus
  • Partner with Creative to develop formats and templates that elevate quality while enabling scale
  • Ensure alignment with broader social strategy, connecting commercial and consumer narratives where relevant

Collaborate Across Teams to Drive Alignment and Impact
Act as a connector between internal teams and external presence.

  • Partner closely with the Director of Social Media  & Influencers to align commercial and consumer strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Science, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices for social participation and thought leadership
  • Bring insights back into the organization, helping inform broader strategy and storytelling

This is a remote US role.

Requirements:
We would love to consider you for this role if you have:
  • 5–8 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or thought leadership, ideally within a consumer, healthcare, or technology company
  • Experience working with executives, subject matter experts, or commercial teams to develop external-facing content
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
  • Experience building or scaling programs, systems, or workflows (employee advocacy experience is a strong plus)
  • Understanding of LinkedIn and other platforms as channels for influence, credibility, and professional engagement
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AI tools or interest in leveraging them to scale content creation is a plus

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
