Project Overview:We are kicking off a short-term, high-impact project focused on integrating a partner application with our platform. The main goal is to seamlessly migrate users and their data to our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the existing frontend and backend operate flawlessly within the new environment.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize scripts/services for secure and efficient user data migration.
Integrate the external application’s backend with our cloud platform’s internal APIs.
Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security during the migration process (handling sensitive user data).
Cover critical integration points with integration and unit tests to prevent data loss.
5+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS / Fastify / Express).
Strong database skills (PostgreSQL / MongoDB / MySQL): writing complex queries, optimization, and managing schema migrations.
Proven experience building backend integrations (REST, gRPC, or message queues like RabbitMQ / Kafka).
Comfort working with legacy codebases and performing "on-the-fly" refactoring.
Readiness to dive in and deliver code from week one.
Prior experience in projects involving system integration or user base migration.
Competitive Full-Time Project Rate: Competitive compensation based on a 40-hour work week, paid monthly.
Remote & Autonomy: This is a full-time commitment (40 hours/week), but you have the freedom to build your own daily schedule. Our core team operates in the CEST timezone (GMT+02:00), so you'll just need to ensure a few hours of overlap with us for daily syncs and collaboration.
