Position Summary:

Local surety agency is looking for a Bond Assistant to support Account Executives and Account Managers with administrative and customer service tasks.  This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our surety bond department.  The bond assistant will be responsible for processing bond requests and maintaining client records.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and responsiveness are essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting existing bond processors with daily needs
  • Preparing and processing new bond requests using agency or carrier systems
  • Processing endorsements and cancellations
  • Reviewing bonds for completeness and accuracy
  • Communicating with clients, underwriters and internal staff to obtain required information and documentation to support bond transactions
  • Maintaining and updating client records and bond files in the agency management system
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely, professional manner
  • Support Account Executives and Account Managers with administrative tasks, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Compensation: The base range for this role is $20.00–$24.00 hourly].  Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity. Cross Insurance offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more.
