Berma LLC dba NoGood seeks a Brand Strategist to work based out of our New York, NY office (Telecommuting permitted. Must be located on the East Coast). 

In this role you will:

  • Be a storyteller who builds internal strategic tools/processes, insight-driven creative work, and global marketing programs to influence our clients;
  • Craft multi-channel performance branding strategies across email, paid and organic social, content marketing, email, and beyond;
  • Research industry, marketing, and cultural trends to create global brand strategies and campaigns that will keep clients’ brands at the forefront of the marketplace and effectively engage consumer target audiences;
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration (from designers and growth marketers to data analysts and engineers) to generate culturally relevant ideas for delivering global recommendations to brands;
  • Facilitate quantitative and qualitative research and analyzing findings in partnership with the growth team to craft growth strategies based on learnings and rapid experimentation;
  • Author brand materials, creating messaging frameworks, helping facilitate the creative process, and actively contributing to and managing the production of all brand creative; and 
  • Foster client relationships by actively reporting strategy, results, and findings and integrating with the client’s marketing team.   

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Relations, or a closely related discipline, or its equivalent;
  • 24 months content creation and creative experience across multiple digital channels and working in an ad agency or tech startup environment, or a closely related occupation; 

AND

  • Hands on experience with brands in tech, working with patents and translating complex technical information into digestible, compelling marketing messages; Strong written and oral communication skills, specifically when presenting and framing own creative ideas and direction, as applied to executive and leadership audience; Outstanding copywriting experience and ability to write powerful long- and short-term pieces that capture a brand’s tone and voice; Proficiency in Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 / year
