Position Summary:

The Senior FBO Account Executive is a leadership role focusing on developing and maintaining strategic relationships with clients while driving sales growth in the business aviation sector. This position involves managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. As a senior sales team member, this role will also contribute to strategic planning and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales volume and gross profit goals for the assigned region and key accounts.
  • Maintain and grow account and product portfolio in line with the business plan.
  • Develop a clear understanding of market dynamics in the assigned territory.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new prospects and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Utilize CRM and other assigned system platforms to maintain customer profiles and manage pipelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
  • Represent the company at trade events to enhance business visibility.
  • Develop working knowledge of competitor offerings and build value propositions to maintain customer interest.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams, including credit, supply, dispatch, accounting, and legal, to ensure smooth business operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or account management within the aviation or FBO industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of fuel markets, pricing strategies, and customer needs.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication, including presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with some familiarity with artificial intelligence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Customer service orientation with integrity and a results-driven mindset.

Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or business development in the aviation or FBO industry.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, or related fields; MBA preferred.

Specific Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Comprehensive understanding of aviation industry dynamics and customer needs.
  • Expertise in CRM systems and proficiency with advanced productivity tools.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform business financial calculations and analyze complex financial scenarios.
  • Proficient in building and interpreting financial models to ensure proper ROI and maintain desired profit margins.
  • Skilled in managing multiple inputs and variables, including diverse product offerings, to evaluate financial performance effectively.
  • Capable of leveraging financial insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize profitability across dynamic scenarios.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements:

This position requires extensive travel to client sites, industry events, and strategic business meetings, travel requires extensive driving and air travel.
