We are looking for a highly analytical and communicative Business Analyst to act as the vital link between our business stakeholders and technical squads. In this role, you will lead the discovery of complex requirements and ensure that our development teams have the functional clarity needed to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep fluency in the Financial Services domain and excels at facilitating alignment across diverse groups of stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Requirements Discovery: Lead elicitation sessions to identify, analyze, and document complex business needs. Translate high-level business goals into detailed functional requirements and user stories.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a bridge between business units and IT. Facilitate workshops and meetings to build consensus, manage expectations, and ensure all parties are aligned on project scope and objectives.
  • Backlog Grooming: Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog. Ensure that stories are refined, estimated, and meet the "Definition of Ready" before entering a sprint.
  • Functional Clarity for the Squad: Serve as the primary point of contact for the development squad regarding functional logic. Provide real-time clarifications during sprints to eliminate blockers and ensure the end product meets business intent.
  • Documentation & Mapping: Create comprehensive process maps, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications that serve as a single source of truth for the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Domain Expertise: Strong Financial domain fluency. Must understand core financial concepts, regulatory environments, and industry-standard workflows.
  • Facilitation & Communication: Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to lead structured brainstorming and alignment sessions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Agile/Scrum Framework: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies. Experience participating in all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives).
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in Jira for story management and backlog tracking, and Confluence for maintaining robust documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to deconstruct complex business problems into manageable functional components.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cross-functional global squads.
  • Familiarity with SQL for basic data analysis and requirements validation.
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 40,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 140,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
