This role will transform complex marketplace and customer data into actionable insights that improve match rates, booking efficiency, customer retention, and overall platform health.
This is not a passive reporting role. We’re looking for someone who is deeply analytical, commercially minded, and proactive in uncovering insights that drive measurable business impact.

- Identify patterns in customer behavior and quantify operational bottlenecks
- Surface opportunities to improve growth, retention, and marketplace liquidity
- Partner with Account Managers to optimize key customer accounts
- Write complex SQL queries across operational tables, event logs, and nested JSON datasets
- Extract, clean, and structure messy data from multiple sources
- Conduct cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and segmentation deep dives
- Support both ad hoc analysis and recurring reporting needs
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Define and standardize core performance metrics across the customer lifecycle
- Ensure data accuracy and metric consistency across stakeholders
- Automate reporting processes where possible
- Translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready insights
- Present findings via dashboards, slide decks, and live discussions
- Provide actionable recommendations — not just data
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
- 3–6+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Operations Analytics, Strategy, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in logistics, freight tech, SaaS, or marketplace environments preferred
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
- Experience with at least one data visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Ability to independently work with complex and imperfect datasets
- Experience analyzing event-level or behavioral data preferred
- Strong understanding of marketplace or two-sided platform dynamics preferred
- Ability to quickly grasp logistics or operational performance metrics
- Comfort working with metrics such as match rate, post-to-book time, conversion rates, and liquidity
- Experience supporting revenue, operations, or account management teams is a plus
- Bias for action — explores and analyzes without waiting for perfect requirements
- Naturally curious and hypothesis-driven
- High ownership and accountability
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with non-technical stakeholders
