We’re seeking a Business Analyst II who thrives at the intersection of customer partnership and technical execution. This role is instrumental in delivering successful implementations of our SaaS platform by gathering requirements, configuring systems, managing data migrations, and promoting best practices. As a trusted advisor, the BA II builds strong relationships with customers while actively contributing to internal knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement.



What you'll do

  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with customers to understand business processes and needs.
  • Configure the AbsenceSoft platform to align with customer requirements.
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation activities.
  • Provide training and support to customers during onboarding.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Identify risks, issues, or gaps in customer readiness and escalate as appropriate.
  • Contribute to knowledge base documentation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for specific product modules or features.
  • Maintain company controls, security, and compliance responsibilities within your role.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, HR, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, SaaS implementation, or HR technology consulting.
  • Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with data migration, validation, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience implementing HRIS, benefits, or leave management systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance-focused or highly configurable SaaS platforms.
  • Exposure to project management or Agile methodologies.
  • Analytical thinker who can translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.

  • Compensation Transparency. Compensation range for this position is $72k - $90k annually, depending on experience and location.
