Key Responsibilities 

Requirements Gathering: 
Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. 

Process Analysis & Improvement: 
Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimized solutions. 

Documentation: 
Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories. 

Stakeholder Communication: 
Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure clear understanding and alignment. 

Solution Design Support: 
Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs and ensure feasibility. 

Testing & Validation: 
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables against requirements, and ensure solutions meet expected outcomes. 

Reporting & Insights: 
Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track project outcomes and business KPIs. 

Change Management: 
Assist in defining and implementing change management strategies for new systems or processes. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • 2–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role. 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Visio, Power BI, or Tableau. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in [industry — e.g., travel, e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, etc.]. 
  • Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, or basic programming concepts. 
  • Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA certification. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment 

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 44,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 154,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
