The Basics

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst proficient in Salesforce Sales Cloud. This role will have their hands in a little bit of everything but will specialize in gathering and maintaining requirements for our portfolio of projects, assist with functional and technical design, test and evaluate new and existing technologies during concept validations. This person will also act as a liaison between stakeholders in our Sales, Partner, Marketing, Commercial Ops, and Finance organizations and work as a member of the Business Systems team to ensure transparency and timely delivery of project deliverables. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our use of Salesforce to enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and drive business growth. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce overall functionalities, coupled with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

What you'll do

  • Works collaboratively with other members of the Sales Systems team to ensure the requirements are understood and documented
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape requirements and ensure alignment with business/technology strategy and planned initiatives
  • Assist in the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system enhancements
  • Responsible for understanding business requirements, creating/grooming user stories, and partnering with the delivery team to deliver solutions
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off
  • Partner with business operations team members to define, plan, and execute small and medium projects, in addition to ongoing delivery of ‘run the business’ enhancements and fixes

We’re looking for someone with

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree
  • Experience
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Administrator Certifications strongly preferred
    • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or Business Analyst Certification is a plus
    • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst/implementation consultant/solutions architect supporting Salesforce platform
    • 3+ years of experience with declarative development on the Salesforce platform as an administrator
    • Experience designing and supporting small to medium scale, complex solutions on Salesforce and associated ecosystems
    • Good understanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and executing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles
    • Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy where adaptability is imperative
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
    • Demonstrated understanding of Change Management processes
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously; workload will be a blend of small, medium, and large projects as well as ongoing production support

What you’ll get 

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $155,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
