We’re looking for a Business Analyst to help drive meaningful changes through the use of data for a large enterprise client.

The Business Analyst will conduct reporting, data analysis, and insights from a variety of sources. This person will not only report on the data but also influence how and what is reported. They understand processes and data collection and are always looking for ways to improve them. The Business Analyst drives data governance and quality control for all aspects of measurement and reporting.

The ideal candidate is both collaborative and assertive, has strong communication skills, patience, logical thinking, and strong attention to details. This person is a great problem-solving and tactful critic, understanding how to improve the program and identify weak points without demotivating or confusing teammates.

You will:

  • Partner with internal teams and external retail partners to improve the quality, consistency, and timeliness of store-level data submissions.

  • Analyze and redesign data collection processes from third-party sources, identifying gaps and recommending scalable solutions.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to define data transformation logic and support accurate reporting pipelines.

  • Develop business rules, incentive frameworks, or accountability measures to ensure partner compliance and engagement.

  • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to assess performance, improve data quality, and inform leadership decisions.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years in a business analyst, operations, or process improvement role — preferably in a retail, partner, or sales ops context.

  • Experience working with inconsistent or manual data inputs and applying structure through tools, process, or stakeholder education.

  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL (working proficiency).

  • A track record of working cross-functionally with partners, engineering, and business teams to drive process change and data quality improvements.

  • Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A solutions-oriented mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous environments.

Bonus:

  • Experience in partner operations, channel sales, or retail analytics.

  • Exposure to CRM, CDP, or sales-related data structures.

Compensation: $100,000 - $105,000

This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
