Position Summary 
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with knowledge or experience in Epic software, preferably within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, developing strategic recommendations, and ensuring effective implementation of business initiatives. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential for this role.

Responsibilities 

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders 
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications 
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively 
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement 
  • Create process maps, business workflows, and use cases to support solution design 
  • Assist in developing business cases and cost/benefit analyses for proposed solutions 
  • Support change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or systems 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals 
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear, timely manner 
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions 

Role Requirements 

  • 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Knowledge or experience with Epic software is preferred 
  • Experience with ERP systems, pricing applications, or large-scale system implementations is a plus 
  • Ability to work across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other requirements management tools 
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies 
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field 
  • 8–10 years’ relevant experience 
  • Experience or familiarity with Epic software is preferred 
  • Experience may be transferable; a passion for driving business success is essential
