As one of Microsoft’s most recognized global partners, Quisitive sits at the forefront of cloud transformation, enterprise data strategy, cybersecurity, and the emerging frontier of agentic AI. Here, consultants and technologists operate on the edge of innovation—supported by a culture that values craftsmanship, open collaboration, and technical expertise. If you’re looking for a place where you can innovate, solve complex problems, and build solutions that make a measurable impact, join us.

We are seeking a Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant with deep development expertise and a strong command of finance functionality. In this role, you will design and build the extensions, integrations, and customizations that bring client solutions to life—writing clean, scalable AL code and architecting the technical backbone of Business Central implementations. You will pair that engineering strength with genuine understanding of the finance domain, so you can translate complex accounting and financial requirements directly into robust technical solutions. This is a hands-on build role for someone who wants to own the technical craft while staying grounded in real business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy Business Central extensions and customizations using AL, following Microsoft best practices and clean-code principles.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Business Central and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware such as Azure services and Power Platform connectors.
  • Architect technical solutions for finance-centric requirements across GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and optimize complex data migrations, including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation using SQL and migration tooling.
  • Configure and extend financial reporting, account schedules, and Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable insight.
  • Partner with other functional consultants to translate business and finance requirements into sound technical designs and estimates.
  • Conduct code reviews, manage source control (Azure DevOps / Git), and support CI/CD pipelines for Business Central deployments.
  • Troubleshoot, performance-tune, and provide advanced technical support through go-live and beyond.
  • Contribute to solution architecture decisions, technical documentation, and statements of work as a senior member of the consulting team.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of Dynamics development experience, with strong hands-on AL development for Business Central.
  • At least 2 full life cycle implementations.
  • Proven experience building extensions, APIs, and integrations within the Business Central ecosystem.
  • Solid working knowledge of Business Central finance functionality—you can speak the language of finance, not just code.
  • Strong SQL skills and demonstrated experience with data migration and transformation.
  • Experience with Azure services, Power Platform, and modern integration patterns.
  • Proficiency with source control and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD).
  • Dynamics GP experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • A collaborative, accountable mindset that reflects our culture: Own It and Be Present.

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft certification in Business Central Functional Consultant (MB-800)
  • Microsoft certification in Business Central Developer (MB-820)
  • Accounting or Finance Degree
  • Experience across multiple industries or complex multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Familiarity with AppSource app development and publishing.
