Summary / Objective:
The Business Development Director will drive strategic expansion and revenue growth throughout the North American market. This role is key to cultivating high-value partnerships and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams to achieve measurable results, leveraging deep expertise within the Registry/Registrar ecosystem. This individual will act as the main commercial lead for crucial North American accounts, which involves negotiating and executing complex marketing and commercial agreements. A core responsibility is clearly articulating Identity Digital's value proposition to key partners, while strictly maintaining the necessary operational rigor and forecasting discipline to consistently exceed revenue targets.

Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000 - $167,000 (flexibility based on experience) plus sales incentives as well as the benefits described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.
US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to formulate and execute comprehensive growth strategies specifically designed for the North America market
- Build mutually-beneficial relationships with Registrars, Resellers and Web Enablement Providers in North America, and some global partners, to maximize the distribution of Identity Digital's TLD portfolio
- Manage partner relationships beyond securing the contract or sale to secure renewals, drive expansion and ensure long term retention
- Define, implement, gather and maintain metrics to evaluate effectiveness of channel programs and regularly report back on the successes and failures of those activities with the goal of refining go-forward activities
- Work cross functionally with Product, Marketing and Support teams to deliver best in class service to our partners
- Take ownership of revenue performance, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly targets and KPIs
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Keep all systems, databases, and CRM updated with most current information
- Actively models and promotes Identity Digital's core values through day-to-day interactions, behaviors, and decision-making
- Other duties as assigned
Experiences:
- 8+ Years experience in business strategy, business development, sales, or related field
- BA in business administration in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience selling and building a book of business through channel sales.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Possess tenacity as well as the ability to positively influence others and overcome objections
- Outstanding communication skills and IT fluency
- Strong ability to forecast and qualify deals
- Proven track record of consistently achieving revenue targets
- Desire to work collaboratively with team members from other groups (often in different time zones) and interact well with senior leadership
- Strength in adapting to changing environments and requirements
- Manage competing demands effectively, work independently and prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement and follow policies, processes and procedures
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time
- Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed
- Reliable transportation to the workplace
