Who We Are

At Yuno, we are building the payment infrastructure that allows all companies to participate in the global market. Founded by seasoned experts from the payments and tech industries, our technology provides access to leading payment capabilities, enabling companies to engage customers confidently and maintain global operations through seamless integrations.

We empower high-performing teams at brands like InDrive, McDonald's, Rappi, and Viva Aerobus to integrate over 1,000 payment methods via a single API. By leveraging advanced AI and the latest technologies, we orchestrate smart routing and fraud prevention across 80+ countries.

About The Role

We are orchestrating the best high-performing team!

We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead our expansion in North America. This is a senior seat: we need someone who already knows the payments industry inside out, has closed enterprise deals before, and is ready to open a new, high-priority market for Yuno from day one.

You will own the full sales cycle with enterprise merchants, from prospecting to closing to onboarding. This isn't about following a playbook someone else wrote. You'll be expected to build the strategy for the region as you go, chase bigger deals, and push for outsized results — that's the ambition this role demands.

Because you'll be negotiating directly with senior decision-makers at enterprise merchants, and translating market feedback into input for Product, Marketing, and Customer Service, collaboration is non-negotiable. You'll need to build trust fast, both externally with prospects and partners, and internally with every team you touch. And because payments is a business built on reliability, excellence in how you present Yuno's solution and manage every stage of the deal will define how much trust you earn — with clients and with your own team.

If you've built a strong track record in payments or fintech sales and are ready to open a brand-new market for a fast-growing company, this role is for you.

Your contribution will be
  • Actively seek out and target enterprise clients who can benefit from Yuno's payment solutions

  • Own the full sales cycle with enterprise merchants, from prospecting to closing to onboarding

  • Research the payments market continuously to spot needs, opportunities, and trends

  • Develop tailored strategies for approaching and engaging potential clients

  • Build and maintain relationships with key business clients and industry partners

  • Lead complex negotiations with enterprise merchants, closing long-term, mutually beneficial agreements

  • Present and explain Yuno's solution clearly and persuasively to prospects

  • Gather client feedback to help improve our product and service offerings

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Service to ensure a cohesive approach to B2B sales

  • Track sales targets and report regularly on progress and challenges to leadership

Skills You NeedMinimum Qualifications
  • Mandatory +5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, with a focus on sales in the B2B payments or fintech industry

  • Mandatory fluent English

  • Demonstrable sales track record, particularly in international and multi-cultural contexts

  • In-depth knowledge of the North American payments market

  • Familiarity with customer support practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and rapport-building skills

  • Effective time management and strategic planning abilities

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field

What We Offer at Yuno
  • Competitive Compensation

  • Remote Work – You can work from everywhere!

  • Home Office Bonus – A one-time allowance to help you create your ideal home office.

  • Work Equipment

  • Stock Options

  • Health Plan wherever you are.

  • Flexible Days Off

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
