As a Business Development Manager for Partials, you will focus on growing revenue, developing client relationships, and creating partial truckload solutions in the transportation industry.

Who We Want
As a BD Manager of Partials at Arrive Logistics, you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth for our partials division focused on the customer side. Using your experience in the transportation industry to build our credibility and expand current clients and cultivating new business across the entire supply chain with an emphasis on partial & shared truckload. This role will require new and active business development. In addition to identifying new business opportunities, you will be working with Arrive’s existing accounts, building meaningful relationships from top to bottom to allow Arrive and selected customers to continue to grow year-over-year and increase multi-modal services.
What You'll Do
- First and foremost, grow partial volume and spread
- Client Facing: Leverage your experience as a trusted logistics advisor to get Arrive Logistics in front of senior leadership at new & existings accounts.
- This will be done by phone calls, Zooms, in person meetings with clients to build out our partial capabilities.
- Sell the mode internal to BD reps and build their buy in and confidence in the mode
- Cultivate executive sponsorship by demonstrating your depth of industry, Arrive, and market knowledge of partial and shared truckload.
- Identify partial opportunities within current customers and sell into those
- Increase Arrive’s footprint by selling, developing and designing custom partial and shared truckload solutions for our existing and active clients.
- Contribute to new business acquisition through consultative selling and creative vision.
- Set the growth vision for Arrive’s partial engagement with clients
- Skillfully negotiate rates & volumes with accounts for a variety of transportation services.
- Own Arrive’s core growth metrics for the clients in your multi-modal service capability - partial truckload.
- Own the Quarterly Business Review process and develop innovative ways to present critical metrics to illustrate Arrive’s brand & growth.
- Prevent leakage to competition by establishing best in class Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as needed and work with operations to implement them.
- Manage mission critical issues and ensure overall customer relationships are thriving.
Qualifications
- We are only considering candidates who are currently based out of ATX or CHI
- 7+ years of professional experience in the transportation industry and at least 4 in partials
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with a sales floor and sales management.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong ability to quickly build trust with different levels of management.
- High level of initiative and hustle.
- Able to work independently, as the role will not be based out of an office.
- Able to collaborate with a seasoned team of executive customer relations professionals. The team will be composed of 7+ professionals working together to drive Arrive’s growth.
