Our client is looking for a Part-Time Associate Sales Representative to drive front-line outreach to B2B prospects, uncover qualified sales opportunities, and schedule meetings for the sales team. They operate in the specialized healthcare and personalized medicine industry and have continued expanding access to innovative genetic testing and clinical support solutions that help enable more individualized approaches to care.

The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with new business prospects, particularly over the phone. This person should communicate with a polished and professional presence across phone and video interactions, demonstrate excellent written and spoken English, and use prospecting data and performance metrics to improve their outreach continuously.

Responsibilities
  • Research B2B companies and decision-makers that align with the client's ideal customer profile and target market.
  • Build, organize, and maintain accurate prospect and contact lists for ongoing outbound campaigns.
  • Conduct proactive cold outreach to prospective business clients, with a strong focus on phone-based prospecting and cold calling.
  • Present the client's services and value proposition clearly and professionally during initial prospect conversations.
  • Conduct first-stage qualification to determine prospect fit, interest, needs, and potential sales opportunities.
  • Book qualified appointments and discovery meetings for the appropriate members of the sales team.
  • Maintain a confident, personable, and professional presence during phone and video conversations.
  • Execute consistent and timely follow-up with prospects to improve response and meeting conversion rates.
  • Accurately document outreach activity, prospect responses, appointments, follow-ups, and outcomes.
  • Review outreach metrics and sales activity data to identify patterns and opportunities to improve prospecting performance.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales team to provide context and ensure a smooth hand off of qualified opportunities.
  • Leverage internal productivity and collaboration platforms to organize prospecting tasks and communicate with team members.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in B2B outbound sales, business development, lead generation, appointment setting, sales development, or another prospecting-focused position.
  • Proven experience researching prospects and developing targeted lead lists.
  • Hands-on cold-calling experience and confidence initiating conversations with new B2B prospects.
  • Experience qualifying leads and booking appointments or discovery calls for sales representatives or senior sales team members.
  • Solid understanding of early-stage B2B sales conversations, prospect qualification, and opportunity identification.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional and polished communication style across both phone and video calls.
  • Confidence engaging with unfamiliar prospects and navigating initial objections or questions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated work style, with the ability to take ownership of outbound activity.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to track sales activity, interpret outreach metrics, and use data to improve performance.
  • Ability to work independently and remain accountable in a fully remote environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous B2B sales or business development experience within healthcare, medical services, diagnostics, health technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience tracking appointment-setting metrics, conversion rates, sales activity KPIs, or similar performance indicators is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with structured outbound prospecting and lead qualification methodologies is beneficial.
  • Ability to remain persistent while maintaining a consultative, personable, and professional communication style.
  • Comfortable learning specialized healthcare concepts and translating them into clear value propositions for business prospects.
  • Previous experience collaborating with distributed or remote teams is a plus.
