Tellius is a fast-growing AI analytics company headquartered in Reston, Virginia. We are transforming how enterprises interact with their data — moving beyond dashboards and static reports to an always-on, agentic intelligence platform that investigates, reasons, and delivers finished answers autonomously.

Our platform, powered by Kaiya — Tellius's AI agent — connects to all your enterprise data, automatically investigates what changed and why, and delivers board-ready briefings, memos, and presentations before you even ask. We serve some of the world's most innovative companies, including Novo Nordisk, PepsiCo, Regeneron, AbbVie, and Biogen — helping their teams go from question to decision in minutes, not days.

We are recognized as a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics & Business Intelligence Platforms, and we're just getting started. Our team is built for people who thrive on solving hard problems, moving fast, and building things that matter at enterprise scale.

Business Development Representative (Fully Remote)

Our BDRs have an incredible opportunity to generate engagement with Tellius and deliver qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team. BDRs have the unique opportunity to build a strong foundation of software sales skills while having a direct impact on pipeline and revenue generation. At Tellius, we like to say the BDR team is rolling out the red carpet for many of our prospects to the front door of a whole new world of deriving insights from data. BDRs work cross-functionally with Tellius's marketing and sales departments in alignment with our Go-To-Market strategy. We're a small, but mighty and fierce team looking to shake up historical market leaders with something our customers are raving about.

  • LinkedIn – social selling and lead generation activity
  • Salesforce – manage, organize and update contacts database
  • Consistently work to monthly and quarterly sales goals

What you bring:

  • Excitement to build a new and shape the outbound team
  • Professional, creative and a dynamic presence
  • Grittiness, set goals and go achieve them!
  • FUN! We like to have fun just as much as we like to crush numbers and work hard
  • The ability to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly (we are all remote)
  • A positive attitude and a desire to build a world-class company, as well as willingness to work closely with other functions within Tellius
  • Beneficial if experienced with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, AI or Analytics
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (talking to C-Suite Executives over the phone and email)

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
