The Business Development Representative will manage inbound sales campaigns, qualify leads, and enhance outreach strategies while collaborating with various teams.

We are looking for a full-time Business Development Representative to join our team and help drive new revenue. Our Business Development Representative sits within our Sales organization and works alongside customer-facing teams to find qualified new sales opportunities for our Account Executive team.
Shipping & handling responsibilities:
- Manage all inbound sales campaigns
- Research Mid Market and Enterprise inbound leads, and personalize outreach to high potential leads
- Proactively identify underperforming cadences, and take initiatives to implement new outreach strategies with the goal of improving metrics (e.g. open rate, reply rate, conversion rate, etc)
- Qualify leads using BANT qualification criteria
- Schedule appointments for our Account Executives
- Use Salesforce to engage with leads, log activities, book meetings, and manage leads and opportunity records
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to improve lead to opportunity conversion rate, and assist with campaign success reporting
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Business Development Representative
- Proficient with Salesforce
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Our Compensation Shippolicy:
We believe compensation is a custom experience and are commited to fair and equitable compensation practices. The standard base pay range for this role is min $60,000 to a max $80,000 annual salary (standard range). Since we are focused on hiring Shippos Everywhere, we have 2 US pay ranges, a standard compensation range for the majority of the US and a standard +1 compensation range for those who live in areas where the cost of labor is higher, such as NYC and California.
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: financial budgets, work experience, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market value. The base pay salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future. Total compensation for this role will include, equity, medical, dental, vision and other benefits noted in our Shippos “package” section.
