Position Summary

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to support the growth of our business by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the defense, federal, and commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, lead generation, and client outreach, and will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline while ensuring a high level of client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

Identify and research new business opportunities across target markets.
Conduct outreach to prospective clients via phone, email, and networking.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers in government and commercial organizations.

Sales Pipeline Management

Track leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Prepare reports and updates for sales leadership on pipeline status.
Support strategic initiatives to expand company presence in target markets.

Proposal & Coordination Support

Collaborate with proposal and business development teams to provide technical or commercial input for bids.
Coordinate internal resources to support client requirements and proposal submissions.

Market Research

Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and procurement opportunities.
Identify emerging markets and potential clients for business expansion.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with government or defense clients.
Familiarity with federal contracting processes and procurement procedures.

Work Environment

Professional office environment (or hybrid/remote if applicable).
May require occasional travel.
