Wacom Technology Corporation seeks applicants for a full-time Business Intelligence Analyst position at our facility in Vancouver, WA. This position works closely with business analysts, technical staff, and end-users to design and implement effective Tableau reporting solutions that provide meaningful business and operational insights. Position is available for full-time work from home.
Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with business analysts and technical staff to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting solutions
•Analyze upstream data sources and work with technical staff to produce source-to-target data mappings and specifications
•Design and develop highly effective dashboards and reports using Tableau
•Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of dashboards and reports and confirm that business requirements have been met
•Validate source-to-target data flows, mapping, and logic changes, and ensure visualization accuracy
•Troubleshoot issues and communicate resolutions to the user community
•Drive and recommend design changes for Tableau dashboards
•Document, communicate, and train the Wacom user community on new solutions
•Utilize KPIs and best practices for data visualization techniques
•Work both independently and collaboratively with a team of developers on functional specifications
•Possess strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with leadership and peers
Minimum Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or Computer Science and 24 months of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst. Prior Experience to include: Data warehousing and/or business reporting solutions; BI reporting and visualization tools (Tableau required); Use of SQL in database query tools; Project Management.
