What You'll Do
Data Analysis & Research
- Independently source, extract, clean, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets from proprietary and third-party sources to generate insights on automotive market dynamics. Partner with internal data teams to acquire, integrate, and maintain the data feeds that power team deliverables.

- Evaluate, adopt, and champion AI and generative AI tools (e.g., large language models, coding assistants, automated research agents) to enhance analytical productivity across the team. This includes connecting AI directly to production data environments to replicate, accelerate, and scale existing analytical workflows.
Insights & Thought Leadership
- Produce and deliver research reports, market commentaries, and presentations that translate complex analytical findings into concise, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Represent Cox Automotive as a visible thought leader through recurring industry conference presentations, webinars, published articles, and direct media engagement. Serve as a credible, quotable voice on market trends for trade and national press.

Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting
- Serve as a subject matter resource for internal teams-including product, sales, marketing, and corporate strategy-by providing data-driven answers to ad-hoc business questions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to scope analytical projects, define requirements, and deliver insights that support client-facing and internal initiatives.
- Build and maintain advisory relationships with internal and external stakeholders-including OEMs, dealer groups, lenders, and financial institutions-providing executive-level analytical support on market positioning, pricing strategy, and economic conditions.
- Develop subject matter expertise across Cox Automotive's portfolio of businesses and the broader automotive value chain.
- Occasional travel may be required for conferences, client meetings, or team events.

- Track record of producing data-driven research, publications, or analysis consumed by senior leadership, external clients, or media audiences.
- Experience owning or contributing to recurring, published data products (e.g., indices, dashboards, market reports) with defined production schedules and external audiences preferred.
Technical Skills
