This Business Lead Analyst role will serve as a business analyst and helpdesk/user acceptance testing (UAT) coordinator for technologies in ICRM's Office of Fair Lending and Privacy. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others. Make significant contributions through complex deliverables and advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross functional teams to design and build best-in-class systems and tools architecture that enable effective management of compliance risks and analytics-driven insights, leveraging the Agile project management methodology.
  • Developing individual project artifacts as necessary including Business Requirements Documentation (BRDs), test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries.
  • Create and manage user stories in Jira, working closely with function and technology stakeholders, prioritize backlog, develop user acceptance testing and production acceptance testing.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members and act as a system SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members to ensure timely delivery of system improvements.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Evaluate new technology developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate system enhancements by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards.
  • Host regular demos of developed functionality and user interface wireframes to the business to obtain their feedback.
  • Provide support by answering queries from the helpdesk and providing user training on tool functionalities. Determine, and advise the cause of the problems that affect day-to-day functionality of the systems, propose creative solutions or workarounds and escalate to production support, where necessary.
  • Prevent recurrence of database and user problems by enhancing problem management records (knowledge base).
  • Manage user acceptance testing and validate if the system is in accordance with acceptance criteria before approving for production releases.
  • Coordinate production support handovers and partner system teams for UAT and production releases.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in the financial industry in a business analyst role.
  • Experience in Jira user story creation, managing user acceptance testing and technology implementations utilizing the Agile project management methodology.
  • Experience in compliance technologies relating to data privacy, records management or fair lending is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL, database management (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Ability to prioritize is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.
  • Must work well under pressure, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive with a desire to challenge and improve processes.
  • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercise independent judgement and autonomy and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
  • Track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge.
  • Team player and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, or equivalent work experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
