Who You Are:

Getty Images is hiring a Buyer to join the Procurement team! In this role as a Buyer, you will be part of the purchasing process from the vendor bidding to purchase order completion. You will handle purchase requisitions, ensuring they follow company policies. You will also lead key purchasing projects and act as the go-to expert, supporting your team and working closely with the business to meet their purchasing needs.

Your Next Challenge:

  • Process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for all commodity areas including up-front due diligence with requestors and vendors and providing associated reporting and analysis
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and approvals. This includes identifying issues in the day-to-day process and report to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Develop Vendor relations and assist with negotiating contract terms and pricing.
  • Manage month end process for Purchasing
  • Promote purchasing processes and policies in collaboration with system users
  • Partner with business owners as a subject matter expert on Purchasing needs and opportunities
  • Provide input to policy and practices targeted at reducing cost, maintaining business integrity and optimizing processes and efficiencies through best practices
  • Document and ensure accuracy in documentation for the various purchasing process
  • Other duties as required

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Procurement or Accounts Payable role
  • Experience in a top tier Purchasing organization at a large or mid-size company. Experience with enterprise-wide Purchasing systems; Oracle iProcurement preferred
  • Self-starting with the ability to work independently
  • Strong Excel, data mining and analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and teaming skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Good judgment and ability to make good decisions with appropriate information, context and authority
  • Ability to evaluate and optimize work on an on-going basis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree preferred.
