The Role
We are seeking a CAS Senior to join our Client Accounting Services (CAS) team. This role is designed for experienced accounting professionals who thrive in a client-facing environment and enjoy leading work, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping for assigned clients
- Review reconciliations, payroll, and filings prepared by CAS Associates
- Process and review client payroll and payroll tax filings
- Prepare and review state excise tax reports
- Oversee month-end close and financial reporting
- Serve as a primary client contact for accounting-related matters
- Assist with onboarding new clients and improving internal processes
- Mentor and support junior CAS staff
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Prior experience in public accounting or a multi-client environment
- Strong understanding of accounting theory and best practices
- Working knowledge of Washington State tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online
- Prior Client Accounting Services experience
- Experience reviewing staff work and mentoring others

The annual base compensation range for this role is $26.00-$36.00 per hour. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education and/or skill level.
