Our Opportunity


Chewy is hiring a specialist for our Category Management team in Bellevue, WA. You will support specific categories; responsibilities include running vendor ticket resolution, promotions setup, new vendor & new SKU onboarding and new assortment onboarding. In this role you will often be the first point of contact for vendors; it is crucial to deliver high quality, thoughtful service to our vendors. This is an opportunity to directly craft our vendor partner relationships and customers experience. This role will have a directly impact to our customers, vendors and the Chewy brand.  

A successful candidate will complete and deliver priorities in an organized fashion and according to service level agreements (SLAs). Consistently deliver routine tasks that support broader category strategies and maintain vendor relationships through ambitious situations. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal & written communication skills, attention to detail, absorb information & experiences quickly and apply takeaways, and be able to work well with internal and external partners. Candidates should also be flexible, solution-oriented, and have a customer focused approach.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve vendor tickets on a daily/weekly basis in line with our SLAs
  • Set up and implement promotions as per category manager direction
  • Ensure new vendors / new SKUs are onboarded according to SLAs; troubleshoot issues and advance when vital
  • Work cross-functionally with supply chain, private label, finance, catalog and promotion teams

What You'll Need

  • Completion of a BS/BA degree
  • 0-1+ years of experience with a preference in eCommerce, buying, account management, product management, category management, operations, analytics, finance or marketing
  • Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills (Excel, SQL is a plus)

Strong verbal and written communication, self-starter with a bias for action, attention to detail, proven time, data and interpersonal leadership skills.
