They must be able to work independently, under light supervision, and have a proven ability to follow process & operational policies, while performing more advanced tasks, services, and repairs related to chemical & gas inventory management, the bulk filling of chemistries, gas cylinder replacements & ordering, and gas cabinet operation & troubleshooting. Some of these tasks include, but are not limited to, keeping the cleanroom inventory stocked to match daily/shift consumption rates, bulk filling chemistries as needed, recording volatile organic compound (VOC) usage rates, managing an accurate inventory of chemistry, precursors, & gases, creating work instructions (as needed) to complete all required job related duties, delivering chemicals when requested, training incoming Chemical/Gas Handlers, and handling 1-off chemical and/or gas related requests and/or tasks as needed.
Essential Duties:
Maintain chemical & gas inventory in support of a Class 10(ISO-4) Cleanroom environment
Order chemicals and gases as needed to support manufacturing requirements
Establish and maintain lines of communication with EES Engineers and Vendors to ensure all potential risks (chemical/gas inventory depletion, gaps/delays in delivery, etc.) are identified and communicated to management as they are noted
Work with Process & EES Engineers to ensure back-up suppliers/vendors have been identified and approved for all chemicals and gases
Perform bulk filling of chemistries and replacement of gas cylinders as needed
Maintain an accurate inventory and min/max levels for all chemicals and gases required to support cleanroom and surrounding labs
Work with inventory analyst (IA) to ensure all job-related consumables have been identified and stocked with sufficient min/max levels established for each
Record and track VOC measurements, gas cylinder pressures, and chemistry levels as required, responding to any low-level alarms/warning quickly and effectively
Troubleshoot basic failures related to gas cabinets/manifold failures, canister depressurization events, etc.
Train other Chemical/Gas Handlers on new procedures and policies as needed
Ensure all areas of responsibility (gas bunker, chem storage rooms, cleanroom chem cabinets, etc.) remain clean and organized
Performs other related duties as assigned
