The Anduril Battlespace Awareness Radar team develops innovative and differentiated radar solutions to tackle significant security challenges for America and its allies. We are looking for highly collaborative engineers that will bring significant expertise, experience and energy to the team's endeavors.  

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Chief Engineer for strategic radar pursuits to provide subject matter expertise and broad industry awareness to a cross functional team developing strategy to expand Anduril's role as a provider of  radar solutions to the US and its allies.  This is a unique role requiring you to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, the capabilities of our radar engineering teams, and current and future radar technologies.  With this understanding you'll collaborate with the head of radar, engineering leads, strategic growth leads, division leadership and customers to develop technology and product strategy that will define the future of Anduril's radar business.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Define radar product strategies that win in the marketplace by delivering differentiated value to our customers
  • Define radar technology roadmaps and communicate the how and why behind them
  • Identify and execute strategic program capture activities in collaboration with Anduril's growth team
  • Build and grow relationships with critical technology partners
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Software engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years Engineering experience with demonstrated progression in role and breadth across various domains
  • Deep understanding of state-of-the-art radar technologies and radar for defense missions
  • Strong understanding of the “why” behind radar designs.
  • Experience in shaping strategic pursuits and developing technology roadmaps.
  • Experience with design and development of radar or other RF systems from concept to deployment
  • Travel 30% for customer, vendor, and internal collaboration.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
US Salary Range
$251,000$377,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
