We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and proactive Contract Chief of Staff / Project Manager to support our President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) for approximately 4-6 months. This role requires project management/project leadership to ensure smooth operations and progress on key company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Company-Wide Initiatives
- Oversee company-wide projects and governance processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Maintain and update the company project matrix, tracking progress, risks, and dependencies
- Drive accountability by following up with teams and leaders, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
- Proactively anticipate scheduling conflicts and provide solutions to maximize efficiency
- Ensure all meetings are well-prepared with agendas, relevant materials, and follow-up actions
- Flexible schedule and availability
- Experience working with C-suite executives, handling complex calendars, and managing high-level projects
- 5+ years of experience in project management, chief of staff roles, or executive operations
- Familiarity with Google Suite and other project management tools to track and report on company-wide initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort following up with senior stakeholders
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
Compensation & Contract Details
- Contract role: 4-6 month contract with potential for extension
- Hours: varied, approximately 40/week, some evening hours may be required
- Monthly rate: $10,000 - $14,000 based on skills and experience
- Start date: late March/early April
- Location: anywhere in the US, NYC preferred for potential meetups
