Chief of Staff

Augmodo is at the forefront of spatial computing, using AI and wearable technology to transform physical retail spaces into dynamic digital environments. Our wearable devices capture real-time 3D mapping and inventory data, empowering retail teams to work smarter while giving businesses unprecedented visibility into their physical operations.

We are looking for a force multiplier to join our leadership team. As the Chief of Staff, you won't just be "managing the executive"—you will be building the organizational "operating system" that allows us to scale from Series A to Series B and beyond. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, turning the CEO’s vision into documented processes, global expansions, and high-stakes partnerships.

You will own high-priority initiatives that don't yet have a natural home in the organization.

• Global Expansion: Lead the end-to-end setup of new locations, from legal/compliance to bringing online.

• Strategic Partnerships: Project manage our most critical alliances, ensuring technical milestones and relationship goals are met.

• Intellectual Property: Coordinate with Engineering and Legal to drive our patent portfolio development, ensuring our innovations are protected.

• Executive Operating Rhythm: Design and facilitate leadership meetings, QBRs, and planning sessions. Move the team from "status updates" to "decision-making."

• Board & Investor Relations: Own the creation of Board Decks and the Monthly Investor Update. You will synthesize complex data into a compelling narrative of company health and progress.

• Remote Culture & Internal Comms: Solve the "fuzziness" of remote alignment. You will own the internal communication strategy, ensuring every team member—from SF to London—understands the "why" behind our goals.

• Offsite Planning: End-to-end strategy and execution for world-class team offsites that balance deep-work synchronization with authentic connection.

• The CEO’s "Filter": Act as a sounding board and "ghostwriter" for the CEO. You will help prioritize the CEO’s time, ensuring they are focused on the highest-leverage activities for the business.

• The "Generalist" Specialist: You are equally comfortable reviewing a legal contract for a new office, drafting a technical partnership roadmap, and writing a vulnerable company-wide memo.

• High Agency: You don’t wait for a manual. If we need a London office, you figure out the tax laws, the real estate, and the entity setup yourself.

• Low Ego, High Impact: You are motivated by the success of the organization and the CEO. You are comfortable being the "power behind the throne."

• Systems Thinker: You don't just solve a problem once; you build a process so the problem never happens again.

• Series A Mental Map: You understand venture-backed startup dynamics and what it takes to get a company ready for a Series B raise.

• 4–7+ years of experience in high-growth startups, management consulting, venture capital, or a TPM/Product role.

• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Exceptional written communication (you can mimic the CEO’s voice perfectly).

• Proficiency in modern "startup stacks" (e.g., Notion, Slack, G-Suite).

The salary range for this role is $150,000 USD - $170,000 USD +equity
